2012 London Olylmpics Velodrome

The first venue to be handed over to the Olympic Delivery Authority, eighteen months ahead of the start of the games, is the 2012 Olympic Velodrome. Designed by Hopkins Architects, the structure is one of four permanent venues in the Olympic Park. It seats 6,000 and features a two seating tiers split by the main public circulation concourse, which functions as the main point of entry into the building and allows spectators to view the track as they circulate. The facility’s overall design is inspired by the ergonomic qualities of a bicycle, with integrated sustainable elements providing an eco-friendly dimension.

The 90ies are here and the style feature an outer mesh coating in a sick flavor (red/white). The sneakers feature a functional mesh upper. Perforated neoprene foam is laminated in between a breathable lining and an open fishnet mesh on the outer side.

Adidas Kicks off Second Annual Golden Stripes Track and Field Series

High School Runners Earn a Chance to Check Their Speed against Elite Runners at the adidas Grand Prix

Golden Stripes gathers athletes from all over the country to compete in one of three events throughout the track and field season. The top finishers from each event will win the opportunity to travel to New York City in June to compete in the Dream 100 and Dream Mile at the adidas Grand Prix. Once the track and field season ends adidas Golden Stripes switches gears and changes its focus to cross country. Through September and October, high school teams have the opportunity to gather and compete at one of three cross country meets around the country.

Flotrack will share series highlights including race previews, recaps and athlete profiles at www.adidasgoldenstripes.com. The feature stories will focus on three top contenders and their quest to break national records: Marvin Bracy to break :10 in the 100M; Edward Chesereck’s to break 4:00 in the mile; and Cami Chapus’ to break the girl’s national record in the mile.

Basketball Legend Walt 'Clyde' Frazier to Debut New Restaurant

If you haven’t already heard, the voice of the New York Knicks will now host Knicks fans at his very own restaurant near Madison Square Garden, “Clyde Frazier’s Wine and Dine.”

Former Point Guard and MSG Networks’ Broadcaster, Walt “Clyde” Frazier will open “Clyde Frazier’s Wine and Dine” in April. The restaurant will offer both American and Asian cuisines and is described as “celebrating the unique style of Walt Clyde Frazier by offering a restaurant experience like no other.”

The restaurant will feature cocktails named after his famous phrases and flat screen TVs throughout so that no one ever has to choose between wining and dining or missing the big game.

K1X Lookbook Spring/Summer 2012

The K1X collection is a tribute to a decade of excellence, which became known as the “Golden Era”. The Dream Team had just won gold in Barcelona. Rap was somewhere between underground and taking over the world. And MJ was MJ. Back in 1993, basketball’s (and hip hop’s) pure quality and ultra fresh flavor inspired the birth of the K1X brand.

The new collection was shot by ace nightlife photographer August Castell-Castell in Lisbon (Portugal) and features our friends Mo, Pascal, Tom Breezy, Tith, Rich, Hank and Papa Neal.

Train Like A Knick: Video Contest
